The free shuttle bus service (to Momijidani Station) operates at intervals of about 20 minutes from 9.50 am.

Things to note when using the Miyajima Ropeway

  • Please make a reservation in advance for specific days.

    We have designated "specific days" that require advance reservations, especially during peak seasons. These specific days for the next three months are listed on the service information page on our homepage. Please check this information beforehand, and if your planned travel date falls on a specific day, please make a reservation online in advance.

  • Do not bring your pet.

    Please be aware in advance that pets are not allowed in this facility. However, seeing-eye dogs, assistance dogs, and other types of service dogs may use the facility together with the person they are aiding.

  • Use of strollers, wheelchairs, etc.

    This facility does not have elevators, or similar conveyances and strollers, wheelchairs, and other vehicles cannot board the Circular Ropeway. Please be aware in advance that we ask that you leave your stroller, wheelchair, or similar items with the Momijidani Station Office.

  • Cashless payments accepted.

    ●Tickets can be purchased at Momijidani Station (Base Station) via credit card, transit IC cards (ICOCA, Suica, PASMO, etc.), or QR code (PayPay).

    ●Cashless payments are not accepted at Shishiiwa Station (Summit Station).

    ●Guests with disabilities are kindly requested to present their physical or digital disability certificate at the ticket window.
